Hello Megon, thank you for your great question. There are multiple ways.
If you don’t have many products go to PMax > asset groups > listings groups > hover over all products > click on the plus icon > then select item group and choose the product ids you want to select.
The above also allows you to segment by brand, category, product type.
And also custom labels, which I explain here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxoOVFGlGKs
You can then apply custom labels using many different methods explained here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9neaNemcws
Hi Emmanuel, thanks for your response!
When you say “product ids” - are those the product ids from my Google feed that I have set up?
Hello Megon, yes that is correct. Once you select items in the subdivision / segmentation drop down. The item ids you see are the product ids from your product feed. You can find the product id’s also in Google Merchant Center > products.
Thanks, that is really helpful!
How long does it normally take a PMax campaign to mature and start showing results?
Usually with 1.5 weeks, however it can also take 1.5 months. It depends on many factors such as spend, season, etc.
But usually I would say 1.5 weeks to 3 weeks max. 1.5 is the smaller less drastic effects that can continue to change the PMax behavior.
