Processing error loading image files with matrixify

Using Matrixify App to upload a lot of images and creating Metaobjects containing the images.

All tests run well and Image files (.jpg imported from Google Drive).

Tried to upload 386 images with appropriate links. Matrixify uses an excel sheet to upload to Shopify and shopify pulls in the images for the links.

However, although Matrixify sends over all the data, Shopify gives “Processing Error” for 186 of these images.

When I try another excel file with 269 images and links it only loads 101 of the 269 images.

I try and upload just the 186 files again, none of these load, but I can find no difference in any of the entries.

Attached are 2 excel files (in csv format), 1 that contains the files that do upload and one the files that do no upload.

Also attached an image from Shopify showing the Processing Error (as a csv, but really a png). This is not very helpful as it in no way tells me what the error is.

Hey @pete_faceswap ,

I think this might be a permissions issue with the files in Google Drive. When I go to the URLs in “Already_Loaded_Links_and_Filenames.csv” I can see all the images, however when I open up a URL in “Failed_Links_and_Filenames.csv” it says I need to request access to view the file.

You might need try to open up the URLs in an incognito window to see what I mean, if you’re already logged in to a Google account that has access to the files they’ll both open up fine.

If you can set all the files to be publicly readable I think the import should work.

How embarrassing. In my defence I created all these the same way and I created the Link permissions all at the same time. I even sent my wife a link to a failed image and it opened. I just realised I have that same Google acccount on that Tablet too and so I guess the “Tablet” had permissions too.
