Product Photo not showing on order details page

Hi, I’ve discovered this rather strange issue on a clients store. For some orders, the photo is not viewable when then click on the order - its just a placeholder. Yet, the product does definitely have photos. This is only happening with some orders, its very strange.

I’ve also noticed with the orders with no product photos, that you cannot click on the product title and then navigate to the product (its not a link), but yet you can with all the others. Its almost like the product doesn’t exist!

Am I missing something obvious here? I’ve looked everywhere to try and resolve this.

The photo appears fine in order emails and everywhere else.

It sounds like these products might have been deleted or unpublished after the orders were placed. When a product is no longer available, Shopify can’t display its photo or link properly in the order details.

Double-check if these products are still active in your store’s inventory. If they are, try re-adding the photos to ensure they’re linked correctly.

Hello, have you find a solution?

i’ve the same problem, if it’s like product was deleted but the product is active. The product could be updated trhought Api after the order, could be related to the issue?
