PUBLISHING changes?

Something in Shopify has changed and we no longer have a PUBLISHING button.
Can someone help figure this out?
I have new products going online soon but we can’t get this set up. Use to we could set up items to go onto the website at a certain date and time but we can no longer do this.
Why?

Hey @KarenFaulkner

The scheduling feature is still there, it just moved. Here’s how to find it:

  1. Open your product or collection

  2. In the right panel under Publishing, click in the option

  3. In the modal that opens, next to the Online Store toggle you’ll see a small calendar/clock icon

  4. Click that icon and you’ll see “Schedule publishing” where you can set the exact date and time

The tooltip “Schedule publishing” is showing right next to the Online Store toggle.

Hope that helps!

Hi @KarenFaulkner

Shopify has made a few changes to product publishing and scheduling recently, so you may be seeing a different interface than before :slightly_smiling_face:

A few things to check:

Open the product and look under Sales Channels & Apps instead of a separate Publishing section.

Make sure the product status is set to Active.

If you’re using Shopify Markets, publishing may now be managed per market/channel.

Scheduled publishing is not available in all areas of Shopify by default, and many merchants now use apps or Shopify Flow for advanced scheduling.

If the Publishing section has completely disappeared, it may be related to a recent Shopify admin update. A screenshot of the product page would help identify exactly what has changed.

Thanks guys!
I finally found it on my own yesterday.
I sure wish they would quit moving things around if it isn’t NEEDED.
