I recently launched my website and I’m looking for honest feedback. Would anyone be willing to take a look and let me know what you think? It would be great if you could also check out the shopping cart and checkout.

All suggestions and comments are more than welcome!

Thank you so much for your help!

I like the site -

The images are good. And the products seem fine.

I could see that there is a physical store, which builds trust.

There are some discrepancies in the discounts we’re getting—5 % in a popup or 10% from the header. Or are the price cross-outs because of Black Friday?

But overall the site looks quite OK.

Congrats on your new store! Your store looks stunning. I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building this. However, I have some comments to make the good get even better. Here are some of my recommendations for better customer experience, please kindly check.

I. HOMEPAGE

  1. Add CTA button to Hero Banner

It’s cool that you have displayed lots of CTA buttons: Black Friday sales, 5% discount… but to add in, I suggest that you include one CTA button right in your hero banner section with click-through to the product listing of sale products,…

2. Include ratings for Best Sellers Listing

I find it really fascinating to put the Best sellers right under the Hero Banner, guiding customers to the best products for better sales. However, the product preview still lacks ratings, including number of ratings & total rating score.

3. Modify the flow of subsequent parts

When I scroll down to the introduction of Benutze, I find a bit cracked in the flow of sections. Based on my Website Copywriting experience, the flow of Homepage could be optimized better, into: Introduction of Benutze → Value Proposition → Testimonials → CTA button (second time besides the one in Hero Banner).

4. Make the size of testimonials consistent

As a user, I would favor the consistent size of testimonial blocks. You can look at this illustration:

5. Include the map or address & social links in the Footer

The final part of Homepage is footer, which might better include the map/address of your store and the button linked to your social media accounts in case you have those, as I really pay attention to the social media of a Fashion Brand.

II. PRODUCT LISTING

  1. Have a left-hand bar of product listing

With my extensive experience in this field, your Product Listing have the basic filter now, but can be more optimized for user experience with the display of different filters as the bar on the left like this:

III. PRODUCT PAGE

  1. Suggest Relevance products

As a frequent e-commerce buyer, I always enjoy exploring more products relevant to the product I am looking at. Therefore, I propose you can try to include suggestions for relevant products.

2. Include distinct ratings for each product

I understand that your products now might be not having enough testimonials/ratings to show in the Product Page. But yeah later, I would recommend to have distinct comments/feedbacks for only that product in each Product Page.

IV. Contact

1. Add CTA for contact

It’s cool that you have CTA page, however, it might be better to have a strong CTA or a strong reason sentence for users to give their contact information. And for that I would recommend the nicer design and strong CTA offered by MooseDesk.

2. Extend Feedback into Live chat

I see that you include a Feedback button in the homepage, however it could be more than that, with the reasons for their feedback and our further support to their shopping experience. Being available whenever customers need you the most can help drive more conversion to your store!

I suggest exploring MooseDesk, a FREE LiveChat, FAQ & Helpdesk App that can help your support experience easier, better, faster!

Hi @Benut-ze , I’m Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app.

Congrats on launching your store! After visiting your store, I see that you’ve poured a lot of time and effort into building it. The store is quite well-designed and have a good structure. I have some suggestions for you, mostly related to the product page, because it’s directly related to the buying process of your customers. While the product page is visually appealing and includes essential trust signals, minor adjustments could make it more conversion-friendly:

1. Make the Call-to-Action (CTA) button sticky

  • The visibility of the “Buy Now” or Add to Cart button is critical for a seamless shopping experience, and it should always remain easily accessible. If the button disappears when scrolling, it could cause friction in the customer journey, potentially leading to lost sales.
  • Implement a sticky CTA button that stays visible at the bottom of the screen, regardless of where the customer scrolls.
  • For shoppers who might still scroll, consider to include an extra “Buy Now” button midway through the product description, ensuring multiple opportunities to take action.

2. Optimize Call-to-Action (CTA) content

  • The “In den Warenkorb legen” (Add to Cart) button lacks prominence and urgency.
  • Recommendation: Use a bold, contrasting color for the button and include a more action-driven phrase like “Jetzt kaufen” (“Buy Now”) or “Sichern Sie sich dieses Angebot!” (“Grab This Deal Now!”) to make it more enticing.

3. Reduce clutter on the page

  • The current product page feels slightly crowded with a lot of information, multiple pop-ups and widgets (“5% Rabatt,” and feedback button).
  • Recommendation: For some popups that are not directly related to the product information and are already showned at other tabs on the website, you should think about hiding these on the product page, to avoid distracting the customer during the purchase process.

4. Highlight key features in bullet points

  • The product description is detailed but overly wordy in some sections. The description is for customers to quickly understand the product’s functions and selling points, make it short and straight to the points can be better.
  • Recommendation: Use concise bullet points to emphasize the product’s main benefits (e.g., “Luxuriöses Strickmaterial,” “Schmeichelhafte Passform”). This helps customer scan the information easier.

5. Product variants dropdown

  • The size and color options are not very intuitive. For the color option, it’s really hard to see the difference between those color at first glance. Meanwhile, I cannot find the size charts to check which is the suitable size for me.
  • Recommendation: Use a more visual layout for color options (e.g., small color swatches) and ensure size selection has tooltips or size charts visible to avoid confusion.

6. Accessibility and navigation for mobile users

  • The mobile layout could suffer from long scrolling due to the product image carousel and extensive description.

  • Recommendation: Add a “Back to Top” button or sticky navigation for easier browsing.

If you find these suggestions helpful for you, please let me know by giving BON Loyalty a ‘LIKE’ or marking it as a ‘SOLUTION’.

Tracy from the BON Loyalty team

Hi @Benut-ze ,

This is Kate from PageFly - Shopify Free Landing Page Builder.

I have just had a look at your store. Your store is well-organized but I would love to provide my recommendations for your store so that it may gain more sales. May it help!

1. Add your store’s favicon

Having a favicon for your store will make it unique and help customers easily recognize it. Please consider using an image/ icon for it, same as Shopify below:

2. Classify and add CTA buttons

A primary call to action button is one of the important things for the home page of an online store.

I think your announcement and hero banner color and layout are really good. However, it can be better if you give them 1 CTA button, that you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, a product page, etc.

The purchasing process is quite long without “Add to card” buttons. If I like a shirt on home page or collection page, I must visit the product page to add it to cart and check out. It’s better if you have more ATC buttons to allow merchants adding them when they’re surfing your site.

3. Fix some small mistakes on the page

I found some mistakes on the site that you can check to fix it as soon as possible to get better customer’s experience:

  • The images here could not be loaded:

  • The product images should be changed when we choose another variant:

  • On both tablet and mobile, the “Checkout” button are overlaid by “Feedback” button. It discourages merchants finishing their purchasing process.

4. Add more content, like core brand information

You can improve it into the home page. For example:

  • A brand story helps customers understand more about your business and also helps your store look more professional.
  • Moreover, users’ perceptions of the site or brand can be positively influenced by the returns policy, and any warranty or guarantee information, which can reassure them that the site is trustworthy. Your information is quite hard to see on the Product page now, make it clearer.

In addition to building attractive and powerful pages, you should focus on marketing strategies. Let me know if you have any questions.

Good luck and have a nice day! Cheers!

Hi @Benut-ze , this is Alexis from Akohub.

I’ve taken a look at your website and wanted to share some thoughts to help enhance your store.

I would suggest you to add trust-building elements on your banner. For example, customer reviews, secure payment badges, or trust badges (e.g., “Fast Shipping” or “Money-Back Guarantee”) prominently on the homepage and product pages. These can reassure first-time visitors and encourage them to complete their purchase. To encourage repeat purchases, you might consider implementing a loyalty program. A loyalty app like Ako Marketing can help create an effortless experience by allowing customers to redeem points with a one-click redemption feature. This eliminates friction and makes the process easy and enjoyable for your customers. You can even integrate Akohub with review tools like Judge.me to offer reward points when customers leave product reviews, further building trust and engagement.

The cart functionality looks good. However, you could add features like progress bars (e.g., “Spend €10 more to get free shipping”) to incentivize larger orders. For checkout, offering guest checkout and multiple payment methods will help reduce cart abandonment. Additionally, your product images are visually appealing and consistent, which is great! Double-check how your website appears on mobile devices as mobile traffic tends to dominate online shopping. Ensuring fast load times and a seamless mobile checkout experience will go a long way.

Have you thought of running retargeting ads? It helps to bring back visitors who didn’t convert the first time around. Show them the products they viewed along with a small discount as this can be super effective for turning “maybe” into “yes!” If you’re looking for an all-in-one solution, our app,Akohub., combines retargeting with loyalty and CRM features, helping you bring in new customers and keep them coming back.

Best wishes!

Hi there @Benut-ze your store already looks quite impressive so I’ll make just a few recommendations on where I believe that there is room for improvement

  1. You should definitely have a category set out for newest products on the homepage because a lot of customers tend to prefer them when shopping for products.

  2. The quality of the images are good but I think each one that appears on the homepage will look better if on a body of a human to give customers a better sense and feel of how it looks. You could also consider putting a few short videos as well.

  3. You should add links to the social media accounts of the business at the bottom of the homepage to allow customers connect more with your store and better stay updated.

I wish you and your store the best of luck!

Hi @Benut-ze

I just checked out your website, benut-ze.com, and I’d be happy to share some feedback to help you refine it further.

Overall Design and Layout

The website looks clean and modern, which is great for first impressions. However, here are some tweaks that could make it even better:

  1. Homepage Clarity: While the visuals are appealing, the main message or value proposition isn’t immediately clear. Consider adding a tagline or a short header that instantly communicates what your brand offers.
  2. Navigation: The menu is straightforward, but a “Shop All” or “Categories” dropdown might help users find products faster, especially if your inventory grows.

Shopping Cart and Checkout Feedback

I tested the shopping cart and checkout process, and here’s what I noticed:

  1. Add to Cart Button: It’s functional, but you could make it more prominent by changing the color or adding a hover effect to draw attention.
  2. Cart Page: Adding a mini-cart (a small dropdown/cart summary when users click the cart icon) would streamline the experience for returning customers.
  3. Checkout Process: It’s smooth, but adding more trust signals (e.g., SSL badges, “Secure Checkout” notes) near the payment section could make customers feel safer. Also, consider enabling guest checkout if it’s not already available.

Other Suggestions- Product Pages: High-quality product images and detailed descriptions are essential. If you already have them, that’s awesome—just make sure you include details like dimensions, materials, and care instructions if applicable.

  • Loading Speed: The site loads relatively quickly, but compressing large images and optimizing scripts could make it even snappier.
  • Mobile Experience: The site is mobile-friendly, but I noticed a slight overlap in the menu dropdown on smaller screens. Adjusting this for better readability would be great.

Engagement Features- Consider adding a “Recently Viewed” or “Recommended For You” section on product pages or the homepage. It keeps users browsing longer.

  • Integrate customer reviews/testimonials for social proof if you haven’t already. Apps like Shopify Product Reviews or Judge.me can help.

Here’s an example of how a trust signal section can look for your checkout page:
