Their website is not yet password protected, and they want to preview how the password landing page is going to look like. Not in the Theme Editor that has pretty bad limited mobile preview options, but in a separate tab by navigating to the password page. Hope it’s at last clear now because we have a similar issue.

Just to gather some additional context, could you let me know which theme is being used on the online store? Typically, if you would like to make edits to the Password Page for the online store, you will need to navigate to the Theme Editor and select the drop down menu towards the top of the page.
Once you have selected the drop down menu, you will need to select Others > Password to begin to make changes to the Password Page. I took a screenshot from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:

Sorry, but you’re still missing the point. The question is not about how to find password page in the Theme Editor. Quoting myself:

So, if you click 3 dots in the Theme Editor top left (see your screenshots), then Preview. It opens up the website’s main page in a new tab. How to navigate to password page in that tab? I hope that at last it’s clear.

Thanks for providing that clarification.
If you are wanting to view the password page directly from the online store - the password page will need to be enabled. It is not currently possible to view the password page outside of using the Theme Editor while it is disabled.
If you do have the password page enabled, you can view the password page from the online store by navigating to yourstorename.myshopify.com/password
