really need some help with meta ads and conversion cost

I just cannot get consistent sales through Meta. Yesterday was through the roof, today through the floor. Cost per conversion is way too high for our product. I’ve tried reaching out to so called experts. They seem to be experts in the actual mechanism of putting ads together but that’s about it. We sell desserts online. Trying to get a straight answer from some of the people we’ve dealt with has been a nightmare. Is £15+ per conversion what we should expect or is it possible to get £4-£5 per conversion? I’ve no idea and can’t seem to get a straight answer from anyone.

Any help before I close the business for good would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately Google ads has been even worse. I’m in dispute with them over £500 bill for advertising sold to me by one of their reps who went through the whole advertising process, produced an advert that didn’t work and didn’t call me back after two weeks as agreed.

Hello @scrasey ,

Greetings! I am Gina from the flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.

Achieving consistent sales and optimizing your marketing efforts is an ongoing process. It may require experimentation, testing, and learning from your results. Here are some suggestions.

→ Refine your target audience by adjusting demographics, interests, and behaviors to reach those most likely to purchase desserts online.

→ Continuously optimize your ad campaigns by testing various ad variations, headlines, visuals, and calls-to-action to find what resonates with your audience. Improve ad targeting, bidding strategies, and ad placements for better performance.

→ Create an appealing, user-friendly landing page optimized for conversions. Optimize page loading speed, provide clear product descriptions, captivating visuals, and ensure a seamless checkout process.

→ Manage your ad budget carefully and regularly analyze campaign performance. Identify ads generating the most conversions and allocate budget accordingly. Trim underperforming ads and redistribute funds to better-performing ones.

→ Implement conversion tracking on your website to accurately measure ad campaign effectiveness. Gain insights into which ads are driving sales and use them for further optimization.

→ Focus on customer retention alongside acquisition. Utilize strategies like email marketing, loyalty programs, and personalized offers to encourage repeat purchases and increase customer lifetime value.

→ The cost per conversion can vary based on factors such as competition, industry, product price, and targeting. While an exact benchmark is challenging without more information, it is possible to achieve lower costs per conversion. Implement the above strategies and continually refine your marketing efforts to improve conversion rates and reduce costs.

I hope this information proves useful.
