Receipt printer duplication

Hi all,

Currently having a bit of trouble & hoped someone had suggestions.

We are setting up shopify in our café, for this we require a receipt to be printed in the café & also a receipt to be printed in the kitchen for food orders.

I know that there is the limitation of only being able to connect one printer at a time on the shopify app. So I am a bit stuck, is there any cables we can use to make them duplicate or any apps or things we can do?

Hi Smag,

Shopify POS only supports one printer, but you can use a LAN splitter to duplicate prints to both café and kitchen printers (they’ll print the same receipt). For different formats, use apps like Fresh KDS or Order Printer Pro to route orders to the kitchen. Alternatively, view orders on a second device in the kitchen as a low-cost workaround.
