I am a florist and would like to only offer delivery and pickup. If anyone can walk me through what I need to do that would be greatly appreciated.
I cannot remove ship as an option. After reading an article to change the language and enter a space in the “ship” settings that did not help. I have removed shipping rates from all products in setting but it still shows on the checkout page.
Delivery just doesn’t show up at all. I am currently using the app Delivery Date & Store Pickup and I am not sure if that is playing into the issue but their customer service is checking it out. I removed that app briefly and still could not get delivery to show up. I set a 15 mile radius as the defined area but the option will not show at the checkout page.
This is a known Shopify issue that Delivery and Pickup is not exclusively allowed. After speaking on the phone with Shopify Customer Support we found out that you can see delivery as an option by choosing ship so I am going to change the language on my theme to show “Delivery” instead of the word ship as a workaround for now.
Hi Ash - I’m in the same boat, also a florist - and just need to only offer deliver / pick up - I read the solution reply - but also just wondering if you (or anyone else who reads this) by chance also managed to find a delivery / pick up date (calendar) option available to add to the checkout as well? Would make things so much easier - otherwise if you have any Apps that you have added to do this that you are having success with? Thanks in advance for any help.. !
Hi Jane. Right now we are using Estimated Delivery Pickup: EDP. It is okay but could be better. You have to play around with the settings quite a bit to get it to do what you want. Let me know if you try it out or recommend any other apps.
