Request for Assistance - Removing }} on Footer

Dear Shopify Community,

I am reaching out to seek assistance with an issue I am facing on my Shopify website’s footer.

Currently, there are }} (two brackets) displaying on my website’s footer, and I am unable to remove them despite my best efforts. I have tried several methods, including checking my theme’s liquid files, but I have not been successful in resolving the issue.

If anyone has encountered a similar issue or has expertise in Shopify’s liquid programming language, I would be grateful for your assistance in resolving this matter. Your support would greatly help me improve the overall appearance and functionality of my website.

This is often from some customization done in theme.liquid using a code editor that inserts some extra characters accidently, or with something like a custom-liquid block or section that has malformed liquid code in it.

You might be able to DIY by going through the themes settings and turning off and on different sections on different pages types to narrow down what may be causing it.

If you need me to look at it send me a DM, or mail me, with the store details and I’ll send a request to take a look at the stores backend theme code and settings.

Good Hunting.
