Hi @DarylMaguire95

Your home page is bare. One thing you can do to make it more interesting is make it interactive

Add an image with several products in it, Use an app like Shoppable Image Hotspots

This app allows you to add links in the image that will take visitors to the product page.

This will make it easier for visitors to find your products and buy them

The other thing I noticed is that when I went to add my custom text to my product, the image on the product page did not change and add my text. Not getting a little preview of what the product would look like with my text was discouraging. I don’t want to buy a custom item without getting a preview. Some visitors might feel the same.

Thanks for your suggestion. I will see what I can do to follow your guide

Hi Daryl @DarylMaguire95 I’ve had a look at your site and the user experience was top notch for me. I didn’t really need to struggle navigating my way through the page and it was quite easy to grasp the idea behind your page.

I think a good addition on your homepage firstly would be some reviews. Considering the nature of your business, reviews are gold in convincing people to try out your services.

Secondly, having a section for FAQs on the homepage would also be beneficial to provide answers to questions customers would most likely have without the stress of them even having to ask.

Hi @DarylMaguire95 ! I’m Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app.

I took a look at your store, and I can see you’ve got a solid concept going on with personalized monogram products. It’s a niche with so much potential, especially since people love unique, custom gifts. Here are some suggestions to help level up your store’s design, user experience, and overall clarity.

1. Aesthetic appeal
Your store looks pretty good already, and the design works well for the kind of products you’re offering. It’s clean, professional, and inviting—exactly what you want for personalized gifts. That said, here are a few ideas to make it even better:

  • Since you’re in the print-on-demand space and focus on family name customizations, why not showcase that a bit more? Maybe add a “Create Your Design” tool where customers can preview their custom monogram in real time. That’ll make the shopping experience more interactive and fun!
  • Adding a section for “Bestsellers” or “Customer Favorites” could help guide new visitors and give them some inspiration
  • A little extra storytelling wouldn’t hurt—think taglines like “Celebrate Family Moments with Personalized Gifts” to highlight the emotional value of your products

2. Product page fixes
This is where I think your store needs the most work. Here are some specific things to tackle:

  • More product photos: Right now, the product pages feel a bit empty. Try adding more angles, close-ups, or lifestyle shots of your items in real settings. For example, a monogrammed sign could be shown in a cozy living room or at a family event
  • Variant previews: If a customer picks a different color or style, the preview image doesn’t change. Fixing this is super important because people want to see exactly what they’re getting
  • Customer reviews: Include customer photos or reviews to build trust. Seeing real-life examples helps people feel more confident about buying
  • Size guide: There’s no size chart for products, which might confuse shoppers. Add one to make it easier for people to decide
  • Buy button & payment info: The “Buy Now” button isn’t working, which is a big red flag. Also, let people know what payment methods you accept (e.g., Visa, PayPal) upfront to avoid any last-minute doubts
  • Personalized descriptions: A lot of the product descriptions look like default text from the theme. Try customizing them to highlight what makes each item special, like the quality, unique customization options, or perfect occasions to use it

3. Clarify the process
Since you’re running a print-on-demand setup, it’s super important to make the ordering process crystal clear. I noticed your store already has a FAQ section, which is great! However, when clicking on it, it redirects to a page with multiple boxes, which might feel overwhelming for users. It’s hard to tell where to start, and without a live chat feature, some customers might get stuck.

Here’s what you can do to improve:

  • Reorganize the FAQ section by prioritizing the most important questions at the top. For example, “How does ordering work?” or “What’s the process for customizing my monogram?” could be highlighted first to guide customers clearly.
  • Consider simplifying the layout of the FAQ page. Instead of a lot of separate boxes, you could group related topics together in a more intuitive way.
  • Add a brief introduction or a “Quick Start Guide” at the top of the FAQ page to help customers understand the process at a glance.

Your store has great potential, and these tweaks can make a big difference in how customers experience it. A bit more attention to the product pages and clear communication about your process will go a long way. Hope this helps, and feel free to ask if you’ve got any questions—I’m happy to brainstorm more ideas with you!

If you find these suggestions helpful for you, please let me know by giving BON Loyalty a ‘LIKE’ or marking it as a ‘SOLUTION’.

Hi @DarylMaguire95

Here’s my take on improving your store based on your request. I’ve gone through it in detail, so this advice is tailored to help you create a better shopping experience.

1. Aesthetic Appeal

Your store has a clean and modern look, which is a great start! However, a few tweaks can elevate it further:

  • Color Scheme Consistency: Ensure all elements (buttons, fonts, and banners) align with your brand colors. This creates a cohesive feel and looks more professional.
  • Homepage Banners: Use high-quality, lifestyle-oriented images that show your products in use. This adds warmth and builds emotional connections.
  • Typography: Avoid using too many font styles. Stick to 1–2 fonts that are legible and align with your brand personality.

2. Ease of Navigation

Navigation plays a huge role in user experience, and yours is solid but can be polished:

  • Clear Categories: Add more specific product categories in your navigation menu (e.g., “Gifts for Him,” “Custom Jewelry,” etc.). This makes it easier for customers to find what they need.
  • Search Bar: If not already, make sure your search bar is prominent, with auto-suggestions enabled.
  • Sticky Menu: Consider using a sticky header for your navigation. It’s especially helpful for users browsing long pages.

3. Layout Suggestions- Product Pages: Include more detailed product descriptions and size comparisons (e.g., real-life photos with common objects). It helps clarify any doubts.

  • Call-to-Actions (CTAs): Ensure CTAs like “Add to Cart” or “Buy Now” stand out visually. Bright colors or subtle hover animations can grab attention.
  • Footer Area: Use the footer for trust-building—add links for FAQs, shipping policies, and customer testimonials.

4. Clarity of Product Offerings

Your products are appealing, but clarity is key:

  • Product Descriptions: Keep them concise yet informative. Focus on benefits rather than features alone.
  • Best Sellers/Highlights: Add a “Best Sellers” or “New Arrivals” section on the homepage to guide buyers.
  • Bundling Options: Offer product bundles or “frequently bought together” recommendations. It’s an easy way to encourage upselling.

I hope these suggestions help you refine your store’s design and improve the overall experience for your customers. If you need any other assistance, I am willing to help.

Best regards,
Daisy.

Dear** @DarylMaguire95 ,**

Thank you for your question! After visiting your store, I would like to share some of my thoughts that you can apply to improve the performance:

Organize Products into Categories
Organizing your products into categories can improve navigation and create a more user-friendly shopping experience. Adding these categories to the header menu will make it easier for customers to explore your offerings.

Add More Product Reviews
Incorporating more product reviews is an excellent way to build customer trust and credibility for your store. If you’re uncertain about which app to use, I suggest trying Air Product Reviews App & UGC. It provides a Free plan with a range of valuable features and offers outstanding support to assist you.

Moreover, please make sure there is no other visible error on your storefront. As I observed some duplication in your footer here:

I hope my answer is helpful!

Best regards,
Esther.

thanks for your reply. But I find Daisy answer more useful. However, I also take your advice as well.
