Hello Shopify Peeps!
I am new-ish to the platform and am trying to find a report that shows my ship-to location by STATE and COUNTRY. It doesn’t need to be more complicated than that. It might look something like this…

I understand there will be other data that I need to parse out, so really I’m looking for a report that I can download that will at least contain the above data… the more I can filter it before downloading, the better I suppose, but if anyone can get me close, I’d be most appreciative. THANK YOU!

That’s a great question! You’re right, Shopify doesn’t have a built-in report that shows just state and country for shipping destinations. However, there are a couple of ways to achieve what you need:

If this specific report is limited in your current Shopify plan, you can try using Report Pundit to build this report and other custom reports.
You can also schedule your reports at convenient intervals and choose export destinations.

Shopify’s default CSV export from the Shopify Admin > Orders page will already include these data:
The column name for “State” is called “Shipping Province”. The rest are: “Shipping Country”, “Created at”, and “Lineitem quantity”.

You can definitely create this report from Shopify by selecting a pre-existing sales report (for example, Sales by customer name) and editing the columns by clicking on the icon
to the far right.
