On the theme editor, there is no save button after I add alt text, but on the product images there is. The issue is that on the theme editor, if I click “save as new” it changes it to a PNG and the file size goes way up. Is there a way to add alt text and leave it a JPG?

Me too. I noticed this issue on Friday, but maybe the problem started earlier and I just didn’t notice it. I have been talking to support about it, and they are blaming my device, saying I am the only one with the issue and wanting to close the case. I am glad to hear someone else can back me up on this. I didn’t even notice the part about it saving the file as a PNG, so now I have to check for that as well.
