Search bar shows black font and cant see it

Hi Guys, recently updated my theme to the latest and can see that on a mobile device when you drop down the bar, the font is black and white, most black and cannot see what it says clearly. I did have a code a while ago to make it all stand out. Anyone have a code to fix this please? screen shots attached. Many thanks in advance

Step 1: Go to Shopify Admin → Online Store ->Theme → Edit code

Step 2: Search file theme.liquid

Step 3: Insert this code above tag:
