Sell a specific product on 2 shopify stores managed by 2 parties, ship from one of them

Hey guys,

We are currently working on a collaboration with another brand and need to achieve this.

  • Sell product “1” on both online store.

  • Manage inventory of product “1” on Store A and B, editable only on store A.

  • Fulfill orders containing product “1” coming from both stores, from store A.

Store B is basically dropshipping product “1” from store A

Is there a way to achieve that with an App or I will need to hire an expert to code that for me?

Will this work

  • Set up an inventory sync from Store A to Store B (whenever an item gets sold/changed in one store, it is changed in the other)

  • When an item is sold on store B, a duplicate order is created in Store A that can then be fulfilled there
