Sending an order confirmation by email after adding email manually to order

Hi everyone,

An email address is optional when customer make an order at our store (how to make it non-optional?), so sometimes we get orders with no email address attached.

Usually the customer is in contact afterwards when they don’t get an email order confirmation, and I add their email address manually to the order. Now, how can I send an order confirmation to their email after this? I obviously cannot “resend” the email confirmation, because they didn’t have an email address previously and thus no confirmation was sent in the first place.

Is there some setting or app that I can download which allows me to send email order confirmations manually? Either to a different email address or in cases like the above?

Go to Settings > Checkout and accounts

Select what contact method customers use to check out to email

default is mobile or email…
if the customer has mobile selected before, they can configure sms settings to send sms to the customer
