Setup country/currency specific product feeds for google ads

Topic summary

Topic: How to create separate Google Shopping product feeds per country/currency from a Shopify store.

  • Current setup: Free Shopify Google app successfully generates a UK feed, but there’s no visible option to make additional feeds (e.g., US in USD, Europe in EUR) despite international markets and subdomains being configured.

  • Key guidance: Use localization—submit a distinct feed per market in the target currency (e.g., a USD feed for the US). The free Shopify Google app does not support multiple localized feeds.

  • Recommended solution: Use a third‑party app that supports multiple Google Shopping feeds with different currencies (example provided: “Multiple Google Shopping Feeds”). Ensure the desired currencies are enabled in Shopify > Settings > Payments.

  • Implementation note: Shipping prices submitted to Google must match the feed’s currency for each market.

  • Status: No built-in solution in the free app; the actionable path is adopting a third‑party feed app. No conflicting opinions raised; resolution depends on app adoption and correct currency/shipping configuration.

We are using the free google app which comes with shopify to create our UK based shopping feed and its working no problem. However, if we wanted to advertise our products in different countries - how do we generate the feeds for these? We have international markets and subdomains setup for our store, but within the free app there doesn’t appear to be a way to create different feeds i.e. one for US in USD and one for Europe in Eur.

Thanks in advance.

The correct way is to localize. This means submit a feed in USD. The app you are using does not support this.

So you need to use an app such as: https://apps.shopify.com/multiple-google-shopping-feeds

This app allows you to use USD (assuming you enabled it in shopify > settings > payments)

Make sure that when you submit shipping prices, that it matches the feed, so in this case USD.
