We have two types of products in this store: In-Stock and Preorder.
And we have two shipping rates: Flat-Rate = $7 / Bulk-Rate = $12
We’re looking for a solution where customers can decide how they want their order to be sent:
A. Send In-Stock & Preorder Together (one shipping charge)
B. Send In-Stock Now & Preorders As They Arrive (separate shipping charges)
We do need to offer the ability to checkout with mixed carts, but what we’re finding tricky is when a customer adds a “bulk-rate” product to the cart with “flat-rate” products, the flat-rate charge should be waived because it will fit in with the bulk-rate.
Does anyone have an app recommendation that would work?

What you want to do isn’t possible natively in Shopify. But you can do it using our app ShipMagic very easily.
However, be informed that like any other shipping rate app on the app store, our app also requires you to have CCS enabled on your store.

No. You can get it on the “Shopify” plan also. If you are paying monthly then CCS will cost you $20 per month. But if you are paying annually it is free.
