Hi! So Im having an issue with the shipping price calculating based off weight using usps priority service. it only shows the price for one unit but i have tested and added 10 units etc and still the same price. pls help!

The shipping rates at your checkout are based on the information you have setup in your store admin under Settings > Shipping and the product weights (if doing weight based shipping).
Can you share a screenshot of the shipping rates you have setup for these products right now? It is also important to ensure you have a default package set and that the product weight is set appropriately as well.
If the shipping rates are not increasing then most likely the issue is that the products have no weight or the shipping rates are not set to scale properly on order weight/price.
For some reason I cannot set a default package. Also all of my weights are on. 2lbs for each product.
Also I have a basic plan. does that matter?

A couple of things I want to clarify with you to ensure you have the right setup. The first screenshot you shared, with the package dimensions (you had envelope chosen), is the default package for your products, and the envelope itself is set to 2lbs when empty.
This weight configuration is for the packaging only and not for each individual product. You can see in my screenshot below what area of Settings > Shipping I am referring to:
To set your individual product weight (ensuring the overall weight of the order increases with each item added) can be done from within the product details or the bulk editor. If you select the products you want to check the weight of and then choose Bulk Editor, you can easily see/update/manage the weight for all your products.
Do all your products have their individual weights entered?
