In the backend, I can see UPS, Canada Post and Purolator, however my customers only see Canada Post and is their only option. Is there a way to change that so the customer sees the options or is it only a back end thing?
Hi,
This is Richard at PageFly - Shopify Advanced Page Builder app.
You’re likely seeing UPS, Canada Post, and Purolator in your Shopify backend because these are the carriers you have integrated with your account. However, if customers are only seeing Canada Post as an option at checkout, there are a few possible reasons:
-
Shipping Zones and Rates:
- Incorrectly Defined Zones: Ensure your shipping zones are correctly defined. If your zone includes areas where UPS and Purolator don’t deliver, those carriers won’t be displayed.
- Missing Rates: Even if a carrier is integrated, you need to create specific shipping rates for each carrier within each zone. If you haven’t set up rates for UPS or Purolator, they won’t be shown to customers.
-
Carrier Restrictions:
- Service Limitations: Some carriers may have service limitations based on the destination, product type, or weight. If your products or shipping destinations fall outside of a carrier’s service area, they won’t be offered.
-
Third-Party Apps:
- Shipping App Interference: If you’re using a third-party shipping app, it might be overriding or filtering the available carriers. Check the app’s settings to see if there are any configurations that might be limiting the carrier options.
Hoping my solution helps you solve your problem.
Best regards,
Richard | PageFly
