Shopify agents are not able to provide correct information

Hello,

I am new to Shopify and just started my store. It is mentioned that I will be charged $112 after my trial period.

Last one hour I am trying to find out what are details of the billing since there is no shopify plan which cost $112.

It took me 15 minutes to convince the chat bot to connect me to a real person ( looks like it is standard now).

Then, within 40 minutes, 3 advisors changed and each was trying to figure out what is the additional charge, giving some ridiculous explanations. Finally I got tired to repeat the same thing to agents, I given up. I did not get an answer to my question

Seriously? The shop is new and just started, I wonder how do they manage big shops?

There’s a plan for $105/month. Add tax and it should be right around there.

Are you joking? There is no such thing as tax on membership fees. Please do not confuse people, do your research before answering.

Sorry to burst your bubble. Shopify charges taxes. They provide a service, not a membership. Do your research before posting.

Not bubble, dear, there is no tax in my country, first of all, and if there is tax, it shows final amount including tax during subscription, so standard subscription in my country is $92 for Shopify plan. The agents who “helped” me also assured me that it was tax (very convenient explanation, if you have no idea or solution). And please learn how to treat your customers, take some training. Anyways, I got reply with explanation and it WAS NOT TAX. Bye
