Shopify not catching 404 page on one particular url

I have this strange issue where Shopify does not serve our 404 page in case of an invalid link. Here is it in action:

Catching 404:

Does anyone have any idea why? Google somehow found this page and is complaining. I cannot make any Shopify redirects since this page never even reaches that stage.
