My store is live and functioning, but I cannot access themes. The themes section has disappeared from online store. Searching for themes redirects me back to online store and direct theme URLs produce a Shopify technical error. This happened after interacting with the horizon theme. I am the owner of the store on a paid plan. Please restore access to my Themes page and theme editor, this is the error I’d: 68fe98de-c051-413d-8209-8fdeb6103488-178103679. Store: auracosmetics.store
Hey @aura5
Honest bit first: this is a public community forum, so posting the error ID and “Shopify please help” here won’t restore your access, Shopify’s engineering doesn’t action account specific errors from here, and that ID only helps once it’s in front of support who can trace it server side.
Before that though, rule out a stuck session fast: try a different browser in incognito with extensions off, do a full log out and back in, and hit the Themes page directly at admin.shopify.com/store/your-store-handle/themes instead of through the menu. If it still throws that technical error with the ID, then it’s a genuine backend issue.
Open a support ticket through the Help Center while logged in, give them that exact error ID plus the “started right after interacting with the Horizon theme” detail, and ask them to restore the Themes page or remove the broken theme from the backend. Then keep replying inside that one ticket rather than opening new ones, since this isn’t something the forum can fix for you.
Hope that helps! If it did, a Like and Marking it as Solution goes a long way and helps others find the fix faster too.
Best,
Moeed
Hey @aura5 this is a Shopify Backend bug , not Something fixable from your end . Here’s what to do
contact Shopify Support Directly at help.shopify.com and provide the error ID
68fe98de-c051-413d-8209-8fdeb6103488-178103679
Ask them to restore the theme editor access for auracosmetics.store
As a workaround , try accessing theme’s directly via :
https://auracosmetics.myshopify.com/admin/themes
the horizon theme interaction likely caused a backend conflict — only Shopify’s Support team can resolved it on their server side
hope you like it if it will work then don’t forget to like and mark as solution on it
Hi, no it didn’t help. That’s how I ended up here.
Hey! I have tried informing Shopify.cam but the AI just keeps saying it can’t help and to type the message again in the chat. Once that didn’t work the pop up help box on the Shopify website let me know to try reaching out here instead.
I have tried logging into a different tab, browser, and pc, but I’m still experiencing the same problem.
I have also cleared my cache several times but to no avail.
