Shopify POS Cart Limited to Displaying 10 Items [BUG]

Since the latest Summer '23 release, the Shopify POS will only display up to 10 items in the cart. You can add as many items as the customer brings to the counter to purchase, but the cart will only display 10 items. This has resulted in overcharging customers because we did not see the items in the cart when we are reviewing to verify all the the items have been added before completing checkout. Previous versions of POS would display all items added to the cart.

STEPS

  1. Open Shopify POS
  2. Enter PIN
  3. Add 10 items to the cart.
  4. View the cart and scroll through the items in the cart.
  5. 10 items are displayed in the cart and the counter will display Total 10 Items.
  6. Add one more item to the cart.
  7. The first item that was added to the cart is removed from view and only 10 items are displayed in the cart and the counter will display Total 11 Items.
  8. Add 2 more items to the cart.
  9. The earliest items that were added to the cart are removed from view and only 10 items are displayed in the cart and the counter will display Total 13 Items.

EXPECTED RESULT

  1. When any number of items are added to the cart, the cart displays ALL items.
