Shopify Prestige theme add WhatsApp Icon to the Footer

Hi everyone,

I want to add a WhatsApp Icon to the Footer of the Shopify Prestige theme.

I already tried replacing one of the existing icons (Twitter) but wasn’t successful.

Is there any solution I could try? More than thankful for your tipps!

Hope you doing fine .

I just figured out how to this on my own store (Venture Theme) .

Maybe it works for you too :

Edit Code > Snippets > Add a new Snippet .

Name it icon-whatsapp.liquid

Open it as paste the code :

Then go to footer.liquid and ad this code rigth after any other social netwok :

{% include 'icon-whatsapp' %} WhatsApp

It show look something like this:

{% if settings.social_instagram_link != blank %}

  • {% include 'icon-instagram' %} Instagram
    • {% endif %} **
  • ** **** **{% include 'icon-whatsapp' %}** **WhatsApp** **** **
    • **

    Note that the whatsapp part isn’t inside a conditional function (if else), so it will always show on the page .

    Please, backup your theme before modify the code and dont forget to ad the country code before the number .

    For example, in brazil is 55XXXXXXXX .
