Social Media icons not showing Dawn theme

I’m working with the Dawn theme and am trying to get my social media icons to display. I have checked the box “show social media icons” but nothing is coming up. Am I having a blonde moment and missing something?

That is the footer menu. I have checked the box for them to show, but they havent.

Make sure you provided the links for your social media.

1. From your Admin Page, click Online Store > Themes > Customize
2. Click the brush on your left hand side, then social media. Provide the links for your social media. Make sure to click SAVE.

I have - i’m just making sure i don’t have any leftover css thats turning them white
