Hi there - I have a Shopify site that I first set up to offer digital products. I know want to sell physical versions of those same products. I see I can create a variant but not sure how to do anything else - such as set up different prices (the physical versions cost more) and set up shipping info. Can someone please help? Thanks.
It’s really simple. You are right that you need to create a variant.
Once you do that, you will be able to change all the information for that variant only (you can change the price also for the physical variant only.).
For shipping, just create one custom shipping profile, and add all physical version product variants to this profile. Next setup shipping rates for this new shipping profile that you created.
Done. This should be enough.
