Is there a way (on Dawn 13) to create a static copy of any section (image banner, multicolumn, rich text, etc), and define default content,

So that everywhere you add this section (home page, collection page, cart, etc), this block will always show that default content? (without using metacontent)

And if you change the default content of this section on one page, it should also auto-update all other copies of this section universally across your store. Is this possible? Thank you!

This is Theodore from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App.

Dawn 13 theme itself doesn’t support creating universal sections with predefined content. There are workarounds:

  1. Duplicate sections: Create a master section, duplicate it for other pages. Editing one won’t affect others.
  2. Third-party apps: Use apps like Shogun Page Builder or LayoutHub to create reusable sections.
  3. Theme development: Modify the theme code to create custom sections with templating functionality (requires coding expertise).
