Hi,
I have a small problem and would like to ask for help. On my store it sells the same product in different sets.
For example,
Set 1 - 10m led tape (3000K or 4000K), 1 controller, 1 power supply and your choice - 1x remote control or motion sensor
Set 2 - 10m led tape (3000K or 4000K), 2 driver, 1 power supply and choice of - 2x remote control or motion sensor
Set 3 - 20m led tape (3000K or 4000K), 2 driver, 2 power supply and choice of - 2x remote control or motion sensor
Set 4 - 20m led tape (3000K or 4000K), 4 driver, 2 power supply and choice of - 2x remote control or motion sensor
I would like to ask if it is possible to configure the tracking stock in such a way that there is one main store stock and every time someone buys it comes off the store stock and not the individual set. If not how could this be solved so that you don’t have to track the sets stock separately each time

Hi there, @Antonio4 ! Thanks for taking the time to connect with the Shopify Community Forums with your inventory and tracking situation! My name is Imogen. It’s good to meet you!
Thanks for outlining the situation and providing that example! From what you described, it sounds like you would benefit from an application that allows you to create these ‘sets’ as product bundles, and then have the inventory of the products and variants going into these bundles tracked so that it’s accurate across all of your bundles. Is this correct?
If the above explanation aligns with what you’re experiencing, then you’ll definitely want to look into a product bundling application so you can track the inventory for these bundles appropriately! Shopify has it’s own bundling app called ‘Shopify Bundles’ that you can look into using! Additionally there are several fantastic third party app options you can consider using, such as Bundler!
The best way to go about doing this would be to recreate these sets as unique products via a bundling app like the ones listed above. This will allow you to create these bundles that pull from an inventory of the products used within the bundle, allowing for inventory tracking to be accurate across all of the bundles that use the products you want to include!
Hi Antonio, our app Fusion Inventory can help you with this. Here is a user guide explaining how it works. Let me know if you have any questions on how to set it up.
Hi @Antonio4 ,
Do you offer fixed sets or sets with optional components?
If you’re looking to create fixed sets, you can easily use the Easify Inventory Sync app to group products and sync their inventories
. For example, you could create a bundle group for Set 1:
Master product: Set 1
Component products with quantity per bundle:
- LED tape: 10
- Controller: 1
- Power supply: 1
- Remote control: 1
(Note: LED tape, Controller, Power supply, and Remote control are separate products created for inventory tracking purposes, or can also be sold individually in your store.)
When Set 1 is purchased, the quantities of the LED tape, Controller, Power supply, and Remote control will be automatically adjusted based on their quantity contributing to the bundle. Conversely, if the quantities of these components change (e.g., when sold individually or included in other sets), the quantity of the Set 1 will be automatically recalculated.
You can similarly create bundle groups for Sets 2, 3, and 4.
Besides, if you offer sets with optional components, you might also want to consider using the Easify Product Options app.
