My store was deactivated for supposedly violating terms however it is clearly an error on Shopify’s end. I use it to sell coffee through the DripShipper app to run fundraisers for animal shelters. My store name and logo was submitted by my attorney for trademark with the USPTO. images on the shop were from my Canva Pro account.

I submitted a dispute form with them a week ago (a total of 3 now)- spoke to the general chat support agents 3 times (they’re no help) and still no one from the dispute department has responded to provide more info on the store deactivation.

I need to know why my store was disabled with no warning and when I’ll be able to have access to fix whatever Shopify thinks is the issue.

has anyone else had this happen and how long does it take to get a response and to fix the store? My next move is to have my attorney contact Shopify legal and then pursue a lawsuit for policy change if need be.

For store deactivation issues, it can take some time for the dispute department to review your case. Make sure you’ve submitted all necessary documentation, including details from your attorney and proof of your content’s legitimacy. While you’re waiting, check your email (including spam folders) for any updates or requests from Shopify’s team. It can sometimes take a few business days for a resolution, but staying in touch through the dispute form is the best course for now.

Merchanto,

Very kind of you to reply but the issue is I do not know why my store was deactivated. No reason was provided by Shopify. I have not a clue as to what their system flagged so how can I supply the info they need? I received an email on October 1 stating it was deactivated and to click a link to file a dispute with them if you feel it was done in wrong-doing. All I want is to be told why and then provided access to my store so I can fix the issue.

Has Shopify tell you why they deactivated your store? They did that to mine as well without any warning and now my customers are asking what happened to my store. I recently opened the store maybe 4days in before Shopify deactivated my account.
