Store feedback

Hello everyone! I currently own an epoxy floor installation company. We have developed industrial-grade DIY garage floor kits, and I am new to the e-commerce world. I am seeking advice on how to get my store recognized and feedback on what Ive got up so far.

Hey @DIYGarageFloorCo

That’s a good start but my friend your store definitely needs a lot of improvement. I can highlight some points for you which you can work on that will definitely help you in improving your store.

  1. First impression on your website: Hero image doesn’t really make much sense, navigation text is too small, there’s no logo and lastly the main heading is too big.

  2. Try getting a new color scheme for your website, because the current one doesn’t looks that good visually and also doesn’t matches with your website aesthetic as well.

  3. On collection page, product pictures should always be the same size.

  4. See the product page, how the images are uneven which is creating a lot of empty white space, I suggest edit your images and upload them again with a same size.

  5. In the footer, the social media links are not clickable so they don’t really take you on your socials.

These were just basic changes, by making these changes you website will be at least ready to launch. Since you only have 2 products so if you want to showcase them then I suggest build your website professionally because no matter how much you’ll spend on ads, if the website isn’t built properly then you’re just wasting money. Happy to help if you require any.

Good luck with your store!

Best,
Moeed

Hello [email removed]DIYGarageFloorCo

I am going to echo some of what Moeed mentions above.

  • The header is small
  • The upper image is hard to distinguish if it an actual finished garage floor with your product or a granite countertop.
  • Does your company have a logo?
  • Might want to update the company name in the header to not look like standard text
  • Is your company trademarked or registered trademarked - If it is, add the symbol for credibility.
  • Do you have a store front? Can someone pick up the products?
  • Your contact - is just a form. I don’t know where you are located.
  • I did not find an email address where I can contact someone.
  • As Moeed mentioned - Your follow up images need to be relevant to your business and product.
  • I didn’t see actual pictures until I clicked on one of your products.
  • Add some customer reviews
  • Put some “how to” examples - or a page. Can someone do this themselves, or do they have to hire someone?
  • Your Terms and privacy link does not go anywhere.

Sorry if this is a lot to consider….

Regards.
