Store owner has died. How do I transfer ownership

My partner (Store Owner) has died. I need to transfer ownership to me (staff member)

That is not a post i would have wanted anyone to have to write. I feel for you.

Being account related this isn’t something the forum members would generally help with as the vast majority are merchants. I would suggest that you reach out to the support team as they will be able to help, and will empathise with you.

First of all, I want to extend my sincerest condolences for your loss. I hope you have all the support and help you need around you at this difficult time.

In order to transfer ownership to yourself, you will need to reach out to our support directly who will be able to verify you through a secure channel and then help you further.

Once that is done, do please bear in mind that it is possible to pause your store at a reduced rate should you want to take the time you need before continuing your partner’s business.
