Store Scam, Order Unfulfilled, Shopify not responding

Need help. I recently purchased an item from a store called EBLDstore.com via the Shop app. It is a Shopify store. My order shipping information never arrived and the time has past since it was supposed to ship and be delivered. I reached out to the store’s contact address "lazenya7@gmail.com" but they did not respond. Then I saw that their social media accounts have been deleted. The Shop app is not responding to my requests for support. The Shop app also forwarded me to Shopify request for support because the store is powered by Shopify and Shopify has not responded to me either. Both of these platforms seem to intentionally make it extremely difficult to get in touch with anyone, and I keep going through the Shopify Contact Support and it just sends me in circles down the same links, never to an actual email address or support line. Please help.

Sorry about your situation. @sanahopps123 is right. Disputing the transaction would be your best option. I do not think that Shopify support can help you with this.

@sanahopps123 is correct that the best next course of action is to dispute the order with your bank or credit card provider. Opening this kind of dispute also flags the store with their hosting service and payment gateway for a review as well.

It’s important to note that Shopify is a software provider, providing millions of online stores the tools they need to manage and run their businesses. Our support team is not able to directly review or manage orders on a merchants behalf and we are not able to intervene in merchant/customer disputes.

That being said, we take complaints about businesses that might be on our platform and are not fulfilling orders or upholding our terms of service seriously. Opening a claim with your bank to reverse the charge is the fastest and most effective way to flag a store for a review, regardless of who their host is.
