Hello, I created my website and after the 3rd day of bringing in sales, my store got terminated. I didn’t receive a specific reason, the email said:

“We have terminated —– due to activity that is not, or that we suspect is not, a legitimate commerce practice. This type of activity damages consumer trust and is a violation of Shopify’s Terms of Service. As a result, we will no longer host —– on Shopify and your account has been closed. The full amount of your store’s pending payouts are typically held for 120 days by the processor.

If you believe this decision was made in error, you can submit an appeal. This will initiate a review process to determine if your store can be reinstated.

How the appeal process works

  • Submit your appeal with the required documentation

  • We will review your appeal and may request additional information if needed

  • We will reach out to you via email to let you know the outcome of your appeal

To be transparent, I was selling a plain hoodie product that is solid colored, with zero logos, zero branding, I have a legitimate supplier source (via CJDropshipping), zero chance that it has any copyright to it, and I’ve had zero issues with my current stores selling similar products in the clothing niche. I’ve been doing ecommerce for quite some time and never ran thru this issue. Rather than that, I do not know why my store may have been terminated. I submitted the appeal as well. Could anyone help me? My ticket ID is above this.

Hey there @DSebastian03 sorry for what you’re going through now, have you been able to get in touch with customer support here yet or any of the Shopify reps in the community?

No I haven’t yet, do you have any suggestions or info on how I can contact them? I already did the appeal letter so far. @Bundler-Manuel

Have you followed up Shopify every two or three days? Sometimes you have to push them so that can get the updates.

Im at 19 days waiting ive escalated multiple times submitted 2 complaints and behold it’s at the highest priority for the last 5 days. I chase every day because im constantly lied to and still nothing not even an acknowledgement.
