Sub Collections within Main Collections (not nested from main Menu) Dawn Theme

Hi I’m trying to design my store and I have used the create a new template the dawn theme to create sub collections of my main collections. I followed the steps but when I created my sub collections, they seemed to be in my main collection page which I don’t want. I want my main collection page to just have dresses, bottoms, tops etc, and then when I click on the dresses for example I want that new page to have floral dresses, elegant dresses etc. I have reach my goal of my sub category page, however my sub collections also repeat in the main collection page. Im not interested to have dropdown nested menu at the moment rather I want a path of when my customer are in my website when they click on collections from the main menu, it will take them directly to the main collections and then when they click on a collection, it would take them to the sub collections which have specific products.

This is a case of nested collections which will require use of navigation to display collection list on collection page. This will need code tweaks and changes. Let me know if you need my help.

Which collection you want to hide on main collection page

so in my main page I have sub collections called floral, mini, midi, maxi, elegant and casual dresses. I created this as regular collections but do not want them in the main collection page rather under the dresses category.

Hi @Rose121994 i have updated the code plz check it, i have not found the elegant collection there, plz specifies that I will hide that one, currently it is showing 7 collections

Evening dresses I meant ti say. What do I do different when I create my other sub collections for my other collections
