Because Shopify does not do County level taxes properly support has said a few times I have to override the products on the state level. Well, not at all what I like to hear but here we are. New snafu, I only need to add it to a certain vendor, but if you make a collection based on vendor and then try to use that as an override it says it can only do it to manual collections.
..sigh..
So you can’t do taxes properly, I am forced to overtax everyone in the state due to it, and then you’re gonna add more data validation work to my end by having me enter and maintain a vendor specific list (110 products mind you.)
Every time I try to move forward I’m hit with another edge case that drives me bonkers. All to solve a short coming that’s been known about for years.
