Subject: “+ tax” showing on Google Shopping for Lebanon (even with no tax)
Hi everyone,
I noticed that my Google Shopping listings are showing “+ tax” even though:
After checking, this usually happens because Google automatically displays “+ tax” in some regions, even if no tax is applied—especially with USD pricing or certain feed configurations. For Lebanon, tax is not required, so this is likely a display issue rather than an actual charge.

Hi @user773 ,
Don’t change Shopify or tax settings
In Google Merchant Center → Settings → Sales tax leave Lebanon unconfigured (don’t add manual tax).
Make sure your feed currency matches your store currency (e.g., USD).
If it bothers your customers, you can contact Google Merchant Center Support and request them to review/remove the “+ tax” label for Lebanon.
Thanks
Manoj
This is most likely a bug in Google Shopping search results. I have seen this before. It usually happens when you are using VPNs or any other IP modification tools when browsing.
Also when you disable it, Google may still think you are located somewhere else.
Consider checking the results using your smartphone, you should be able to see the ad listings as normal.
