The compared price does not appear from European web connections

Hi, i build the offer with the element “product” on GemPages.

I notice that if i browse from Europe, the compared price isn’t shown.

Below a screenshoot with my italian connection and using US vpn:

Lokking in the recording screen inside Vitals, i notice that also from the other UE country there is the same issue.

Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? I checked the settings but couldn’t find anything that intuitively refers to this problem.

This is Theodore from PageFly - Shopify Page Builder App.

Hides compared prices for EU visitors by default. Here’s how to fix it:

  1. Go to GemPages Dashboard > Settings > Markets > Preferences.
  2. Uncheck “Hide compare-at prices for European Economic Area (EEA) customers”.
  3. Save changes.

This should show compared prices for all visitors. Contact GemPages support if you can’t find the setting.

Hi @ActivAdv ,

This is Hide compare-at prices for European Economic Area (EEA) customers feature on Shopify.
You can opt out of this functionality entirely by going to Shopify admin > Settings > Markets > Preferences and unchecking the checkbox for “Hide compare-at prices for European Economic Area (EEA) customers”.
