Hello everyone,

What I did:

  • watched/read 50+ (not joking) tutorials and articles
  • tried exporting in png8, png24 and jpg
  • tried countless amounts of different dimensions
  • tried multiple aspect ratios
  • tried multiple resolutions
  • have 30 years experience with Photoshop professionally designing for print and web

…and not a single successful result. The image, which has two words on it (always blurry), always looks the same. I even screen captured the image from the customize page and from the preview in my browser to make sure I had the right aspect ratio. No success again… I’m out of solution and the deadline is coming fast.

Is there something I’m missing? I don’t understand why it has to be like that. It’s a simple import.
Is there somewhere I missed that gives the exact dimension for the banner image?

I fully understand your frustration, ran into the same issues. What solved it for me personally was updating my code in image-banner.liquid to the code below in addition to making sure my image width was at least 3000px.
