I am looking to make my store more mobile-friendly.
I am having trouble with the sizing of the “image with text overlay”, so the image that the visitor sees first at the top of the page.
It does not resize, so part of my image is always cut off or then the desktop version is too small if I resize, focusing only on the mobile version. I am using the Debut Theme. I’ve tried editing the code, but it has not yet worked.
Any way, I can resize, so it looks nice on both mobile and desktop?

Interesting situation you’ve got going on here! Finding the perfect size balance between Desktop and Mobile can be a task, but there’s always a happy medium somewhere! For other folks I’ve assisted with situations such as these, we’ve tried resizing the image itself, and not so much the section, and have had some success. This is certainly worth giving a try! You can use some photo editing software to resize the image file, and then upload that file to the section and test out the differences between mobile/desktop to see if it impacts anything.
Another alternative method is, since you’re using a Shopify-made theme, reaching out to our Live Support Team to see if our Support Advisors can help you get this sorted out. Additionally, they may be able to get some input from our Theme Specialists in order to investigate getting this resolved for you.
