Hi there,

I attempted to order 2 plushies from a site called theobjectshow?? Their payment page continually said that there was an issue with my card. When I checked my bank account they took the payment out 3 times totaling $327.00??? I have sent numerous emails with zero response. How do I cancel these orders when the Shopify account won’t respond. Very bad business.

Sorry to hear you’re dealing with this! If the store isn’t responding, here’s what you can do:

  1. Check Your Bank Statement – Sometimes, failed transactions appear as pending charges but get automatically refunded if they don’t go through.
  2. Contact Your Bank – If the charges were fully processed, you can dispute the transactions and request a chargeback.
  3. Report to Shopify – You can submit a complaint to Shopify by using their Report an Issue page.
  4. Check for Alternative Contact Methods – Some stores list social media or alternative contact details where you might get a faster response.

If you don’t hear back soon, I’d recommend pursuing a refund through your bank. Hope this helps!
