Hi Shopify experts,

Do you know a third party app that supports all these features in 1 app only?

  • Automatic and Manual editing of translations
  • Allows different currencies (can also edit the exchange rate)
  • Does have Language and Currency switcher
  • Supports Multilingual SEO
  • Allows to setup subdomain for each language. For example, the Japanese version is “Samplesite**.jp**” but we want the English version to be “Samplesite**.com**” or “Samplesite**.jp/en**”

Shopify Markets is not an option for us because upgrading to Advanced Shopify plan cost too much and we only need an English version of our site (1 language). I’ve been eyeing Weglot and Gtranslate but it seems they don’t offer the currencies feature.

There is an app called Currency & Translate Converter that I think will cover your bases. They offer both the ability to auto-switch currency & translate within their app. Additionally, they give you the functionality to set manual exchange rates to suit your needs. I’d recommend checking them out! They offer a 15-day free trial and then the app starts at $9.95/month.
