Trying to start clothing brand, but shopify store terminated soon after creation

I created my shopify store for my clothing brand that I wanted to start. I was trying to set up my store, but it got terminated only 3 days after I created it. I would like my store back since I have already spent a lot of money on manufacturing some of the clothes and as well as stickers with the domain name on it. I’ve tried to appeal my termination, but it’s been almost 2 weeks with no response.

Hi Germosen,

I’m sorry to hear that your Shopify store was terminated shortly after you created it. That must be very frustrating, especially since you’ve already invested money into manufacturing products and stickers. Here are a few suggestions on what you can do in this situation:

  1. Continue Appealing the Termination: Keep following up with Shopify support about your appeal. Provide as much detail as possible about your business, your plans, and the investments you’ve already made. Emphasize that you want to work with them to address any concerns and get your store back online.

  2. Explore Alternative Ecommerce Platforms: While you wait for a response from Shopify, consider setting up your store on a different e-commerce platform like WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or Squarespace. This will allow you to get your products online and start generating sales while you work to resolve the Shopify issue.

  3. Reach Out to Your Manufacturer: Explain the situation to your clothing manufacturer and see if they are willing to work with you on storage or other accommodations while you get your new store set up. They may be understanding if you’ve already paid for the inventory.

  4. Utilize Social Media: In the meantime, focus on building your brand’s presence on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. This can help generate interest and sales for your products while you get your online store back up and running.

  5. Consult a Lawyer: If you’ve exhausted all options with Shopify and are still unable to get your store reinstated, consider consulting a lawyer who specializes in e-commerce or business law. They may be able to help you understand your rights and explore any legal options.

The key is to stay persistent and proactive. With some creativity and determination, you can navigate this setback and get your clothing brand back on track. Let me know if you have any other questions!
