I want to test our application using Cypress but I’m facing a problem with authorization. Every time I try to log in a message like this pops up and I can’t continue:
Error message: “We were unable to verify that your request originated from Shopify.
If this is your first time seeing this error, please reload the page you were on and try again.”
Can someone please help me? what do I have to do to log in without seeing this message?

No, no can help you. It seems no one has a productive answer for your question. I to have the same issue. The unreasonable answer from Shopify is to go to their help center and log in to your account. Yeah I know, kind of ridiculous if logging in to you account was the problem in the very first place. Hellooooo, were paying you for your services and thats all they can come up with. I would go with another platform like WooCommerce or Wix their customer service is much better!
I have the same problem with my second store under the same account. I am trying to set up Google for the GA-4 Analytics switch and I am fine to do it on my main account, but on the secondary account for a different store under the main account, when I switch stores, everything else works except Google & YouTube app. I get the same login error as you.
Came here searching for a solution. REALLY frustrated with Shopify support here. It’s shameful how they treat paying customers.
Anyway, the solution is rather simple - you have to delete your website cookies. I deleted them for anything from shopify as well as the shop domain. Afterwards could log in without problems anymore.
The support really should have figured out this solution on their own.
