I have a Shopify Plus store with 25 SKUS, but I only want to make 20 available to ship to Canada. How can I set it up that the other 5 say not available to ship to Canada.
Hello,
I was reading your message. Shopify says that it’s totally possible to customize your content based on your target country. This help article showcases multiple methods to achieve so. It may be required to edit your theme.liquid files.
I hope the above helps.
Hi @fatcat21 ,
This should indeed be possible using shipping profiles and Shopify Markets. For the products you don’t want to ship to Canada, you can add them to their own profile that does not include Canadian shipping rates. The other products tha are available in both countries can be added to a profile that includes both the United States and Canada.
In terms of notifying customers that certain products cannot be shipped to Canada, you can do this effectively by utilizing our new Translate & Adapt app. The app can be used to create custom content for different markets, such as having a message for Canadian customers that certain products are not available for purchase. You can read more about the app on the Shopify Help Center.
