Using "Customer Metafields" to create "Customer Segments"

Hello,

I am trying to create a customer segment based on whether or not a customer has a certain value in a “Customer Metafield”.

I am assuming this feature hasn’t been added yet, but if anyone knows a way to make it work let me know!

Metafields are a fairly new feature on Shopify so it doesn’t look like you can segment your customer list based on metafields just yet. The best alternative would be to segment based on customer tags. Tags can be whatever you like so you can tag your customers with whatever you like and segment based on that.
