A store owner using the Avenue theme needs help preventing variant options from being pre-selected by default on product pages.
Currently, the first variant is automatically selected when customers view products. The variants have different SKUs and prices that need to be imported to an app, so the product page variant information must be accurate.
The desired behavior is to have no variant selected initially, forcing customers to actively choose their needed variant before they can add the item to cart.
The user is seeking either a built-in solution or an app that can achieve this functionality.

Is there a way or an app that has the ability to not have a default variant selected.
For example on that page, it defaults to the first variant, but I would like to to default to nothing selected so when they try to add it to the cart, it won’t let them unless they pick the variant they need.
These variants have different prices and different SKUS/part numbers so I need to have the variant info on the Shopify Product page be imported to the app if I have to install one.
