Can someone please help me…last week I was looking at my CUSTOMER LIST, and I was able to SEE if they have not only had their products fulfilled and delivered, but I saw WHO HAS OPENED THEM and who has not even touched (opened) their products…and now for some reason I CAN NOT FIND THAT SAME content…I am looking at my customers list but I can’t remember where I went to view if they opened their stuff does anyone know?
Hello @Homemadegarden You’re likely referring to email or order delivery tracking, package tracking engagement, or email engagement metrics — but Shopify by default does not show whether a customer has opened their package (physically) or even specifically if they opened an email or shipment notification in the Customer list.

Possibilities of Where You Saw That Info Last Week
- Third-party app on your Shopify store
You may have used an app that shows:
. Order fulfillment + delivery status
. Package tracking engagement (e.g. when a customer viewed their tracking page)
. Email open tracking (e.g. “customer opened shipping email”)
Examples of apps that do this:
. AfterShip
. Route
. Track123
. Shopify Email (with activity shown in the Marketing tab)
. Klaviyo or other email tools (shows email opens)
- Shopify’s own order timeline / tracking history
Go to:
. Orders > Click on any order > Timeline
You may see messages like:
. “Customer viewed their order confirmation page”
. “Customer clicked tracking link”
. But again, Shopify doesn’t natively show if the physical package was opened — only if they interacted digitally.

Marketing > Campaign performance
. If you sent emails (via Shopify Email or Klaviyo), you may have seen open/click rates per customer. -
Tracking page engagement from your app dashboard
. Some shipping apps (like AfterShip) show if a customer viewed their tracking page, which might feel like they “opened” the product.
Try These Steps to Re-locate the Info:
