I’m looking for a web developer who can help me set up my website for success while expanding our offering from the US into Europe. The site is shopify built and is fully operational. We need an expert who is familiar with the following:
updating the landing site based on customers geo location (so they can only see relevant currency)
Adding VAT/customs on to retail price and breaking it out at checkout
We’re looking at these and a few other bits but the many priority is making a US based business website suibable and efficient for European customers.
To clarify a few things. In your #1 point, you would like the store to automatically display and bill users in the EUR currency automatically correct? Do you have Shopify Payments setup?
Point #2, VAT should be added on checkout or be included with product pricing as TTC then broken down on checkout? Customs cannot be added on checkout, it will be mentioned that this total excludes customs.

#2, i really like this workflow on Ring Concierge Fine Jewelry. They display the VAT notification and then give the option to add it at time or payment or pay at time of item arrival. It seems to utilise a plugin from Zonos, is this compatible with a Shopify web set up?

Yes I can help on geo location based landing shop page for customers. As I have achieved either entering zip code pop to enter and geo location API’s available.
