What additional policies does my US dropshipping business need?

Besides the basics (shipping, return/refund, privacy) are there others I would need? Not sure if it makes a difference, but my business is in South Carolina, I don’t have physical or economic nexus anywhere else, and I dropship within the USA.

In the privacy policy, what all do I include? I know there are many California laws. Do those apply to my business? Do I need a section in the policy disclosing cookies? For example, I imported the Shopify template and it has an overwhelmingly confusing amount of cookie codes.

I feel so lost trying to figure out what I need/don’t need. I have spent more time figuring out and being concerned about the legal side of things than I have spent building my brand and store!

Best thing to do is engage a local legal expert who knows about these kinds of business obligations. Asking online is asking for trouble, if you end up getting bad advice then you’re the only one who pays the price. It may cost a bit but that’s the price of doing business.
